How to get to Jambiani Beach

To get to Jambiani Beach, you’ll first need to travel to Zanzibar Islands, which is located off the coast of Tanzania. The easiest way to reach Zanzibar is by flying into Zanzibar International Airport, Kisauni (ZNZ).

From the airport, you can just hire a taxi or take a shared shuttle if available to take you to Jambiani Beach. The journey takes approximately one hour, depending on the traffic. Another option is to arrange for a private transfer with your hotel or tour operators like us. Organizing your private transfer in advance is the best option if you will visit for a Holiday, price ranges $40 – $50.

If you’re traveling from mainland Tanzania, you can take a ferry from Dar es Salaam to Zanzibar, which takes approximately 2 hours. And then you can just find a taxi driver in the Zanzibar ferry terminal. 

Some tourists use Daladala because it is a cheap option, but be prepared for an uncomfortable ride, especially if you’re prone to motion sickness. It’s recommended to choose a more comfortable mode of transportation, such as a taxi or private transfer, to make your journey more enjoyable.
