Welcome to ZANZIWORLD TOURS, These Terms of Use (“Terms“) apply to your access to and use of the website, mobile application and other online products and services (collectively, our “Services“) provided by ZANZIWORLD TOURS. (“Zanziworld Tours,” “we,” “us” or “our“). By accessing or using our Services, you agree to these Terms.

These Terms do not alter in any way the terms or conditions of any other agreement you may have with ZANZIWORLD TOURS for products, services or otherwise. Interpretation and Definitions

Interpretation

The words of which the initial letter is capitalized have meanings defined under the following conditions. The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or in plural.

Definitions

For the purposes of these Terms & Conditions:

Company (referred to as either “the Company”, “We”, “Us” or “Our” in this Agreement) refers to ZANZIWORLD TOURS, Zanzibar.

Cookies are small files that are placed on Your computer, mobile device or any other device by a website, containing the details of Your browsing history on that website among its many uses.

Country refers to: Tanzania

Device means any device that can access the Service such as a computer, a cellphone or a digital tablet.

Personal Data is any information that relates to an identified or identifiable individual.

Service refers to the Website.

Service Provider means any natural or legal person who processes the data on behalf of the Company. It refers to third-party companies or individuals employed by the Company to facilitate the Service, to provide the Service on behalf of the Company, to perform services related to the Service or to assist the Company in analyzing how the Service is used.

Usage Data refers to data collected automatically, either generated by the use of the Service or from the Service infrastructure itself (for example, the duration of a page visit).

Website refers to Zanziworld Tours, accessible from zanzibarworld.com

You means the individual accessing or using the Service, or the company, or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service, as applicable.

Client means  You

Participant means You

Month means 30 days

Day of Departure means a day you start a day Tour, Safari, Transfer or Package.

Tour means a day activities in Zanzibar 

Safaris means a day activities in Tanzania Mainland

Transfer mean s transport from one point to another using our cars in Zanzibar 

Package means collections of any day tours, hotels, Transfers, Safaris with one fixed price.

Booking Confirmation

For all day tours, Safaris or transfers bookings to be confirmed, participants need to pay a non-refundable fee of 15% of the total amount one week before the day of departure. 

For all packages, for bookings to be confirmed, clients need to pay a non-refundable fee of 60% of the total amount 3 months before the day of departure.

Cancellation and Refund Policy: For Day Tours and Transfers

Cancellation by participant (Client): 

Following confirmation of a reservation, a participant’s withdrawal from the tour for any reason, including, but not limited to, illness, injury, family engagements, work-related issues, or geopolitical concerns, etc., will be deemed a cancellation. 

Cancellations must be made in writing (e-mail, whatsapp is acceptable) on +255746823907 and zanzibarworld20@gmail.com, and take effect when you receive an email confirmation of your cancellation from us (Zanziworld Tours). 

Refunds will be made on the following basis:

  • More than 30 days prior to departure: Full refund
  • 15 days prior to date of service: 20% of the total amount due.
  • 6 – 14 days prior to departure: 35% of the total amount due.
  • 3 – 5 days prior to departure: 35% of the total amount due.
  • Less than 3 days prior to departure: 100% of the total amount due.

Cancellation by us (Zanziworld Tours): 

Zanziworld Tours reserves the right to cancel any tour due to low enrollment, inability to operate the tour or due to concerns about the safety, health or welfare of participants.

If a tour is canceled prior to departure, participants will receive a full refund of money paid.

Cancellation by us (Zanziworld Tours) while tour is in progress: 

  • We will provide participants (clients) a pro-rated refund based on the activities not completed on the tour. If a participant elects to leave a tour in progress on their own volition, the participant will not receive any refund.
  • If a participant were delayed or if for any reason you are prevented from joining the tour on the scheduled departure date and/or time we will only refund 10% of money paid. 
  • If a participant chooses to leave the tour early, we cannot provide a full or partial refund toward a future tour.

Cancellation and Refund Policy: For Packages or Safaris

Cancellation by participant (Client): 

Following confirmation of a reservation, a participant’s withdrawal from the tour for any reason, including, but not limited to, illness, injury, family engagements, work-related issues, or geopolitical concerns, etc., will be deemed a cancellation. 

Cancellations must be made in writing (e-mail, whatsapp is acceptable) on +255746823907 and zanzibarworld20@gmail.com, and take effect when you receive an email confirmation of your cancellation from us (Zanziworld Tours). 

Refunds will be made on the following basis:

  • More than 3 months prior to day of service: Full refund
  • 3 months prior to date of service: 40% of the total amount due.
  • 1 month days prior to departure: 30% of the total amount due.
  • 4 – 29 days prior to departure: 20% of the total amount due.
  • Less than 3 days prior to departure: 100% of the total amount due.

Cancellation by us (Zanziworld Tours): 

Zanziworld Tours reserves the right to cancel any package due to inability to operate the package or due to concerns about the safety, health or welfare of participants.

If a package is canceled prior to departure, participants will receive a full refund of money paid.

Cancellation by us (Zanziworld Tours) while tour is in progress: 

  • We will provide participants (clients) a pro-rated refund based on the days or activities not completed on the packages. If a participant elects to leave a package in progress on their own volition, the participant will not receive any refund.
  • If a participant were delayed or if for any reason you are prevented from joining the Safari on the scheduled departure date and/or time we will only refund 10% of money paid. 
  • If a participant chooses to leave the Safari early, we cannot provide a full or partial refund toward a future Safari.

Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of ZANZIWORLD TOURS and its licensors.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend access to our Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

All provisions of the Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity and limitations of liability.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between us regarding our Service, and supersede and replace any prior agreements we might have between us regarding the Service.

Changes

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material we will try to provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, please stop using the Service.
