Prison Island

This island is one among the famous small islands of Zanzibar. This is the place where you can see the giant Tortoises who can live up to 300 years.

In addition to these giant tortoises, Prison Island offers the natural fish garden and a variety of species which give room for Snorkelers. But, we don’t recommend you go to prison Island for snorkeling, as there are not many fish compared to other places we have mentioned above. Best Time for Snorkeling in Zanzibar

Zanzibar island has a tropical climate, this means there is hot and humid weather all year round. Snorkeling during the rainy season doesn’t give you a great experience!
