Day 1: Arrival in Saadani National Park + Safari Game Drive

Early in the morning, the trip starts with pick up from your Hotel in Zanzibar to Stone Town in front of Park Hyatt Hotel beach. This is the departure point of your boat to Saadani National park. Upon arrival, the safari experience begins with game drive activities inside the park where you will have opportunities to spot elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, warthogs, antelope species, and other wildlife depending on the day’s sightings.

Lunch will be served during the safari before continuing with a late afternoon game drive, and dinner will be served after a long day safari at your lodge.

Day 2: Full Day Saadani National Park Safari

After breakfast, continue with a full day of safari activities inside Saadani National Park. The extended safari time allows visitors to explore more areas of the park and increases opportunities for wildlife sightings throughout the day.

Depending on the day, the day may include game drives, bush lunch, and optional boat safari activities along the Wami River where hippos, crocodiles, and some birdlife are easily seen. After the day, dinner and overnight stay at your lodge.

Day 3: Morning Safari Game Drive + Return Boat to Zanzibar

After breakfast, continue with the morning safari game drive to the other side of Saadani National Park. Morning game drives often provide the best wildlife viewing opportunities as animals are more active during the cooler hours of the day.

Later, transfer arrangements will be made for the return boat journey back to Zanzibar. After arrival in Stone Town, our driver will transfer you back to the Hotel in Zanzibar.
